Everyday makeup tutorial! <3

Hey girls,
Hope you are all enjoying your week? I haven't really done many makeup tutorials since i started my blog so i decided to do probably one of the most popular makeup tutorials in today's post. Its my everyday makeup tutorial! I never really stick to the same makeup routine. I am such a makeup fanatic that i am constantly experimenting with new makeup products so this is just an easy, natural look that i created today. I tried to use as many drugstore products as i could to try keep this look affordable but there are a few of my favorite High end makeup products thrown in aswell ;) Before we start i have a quick outfit of the day for you guys...

I was just going out for dinner with my family on Thursday night so i kept this look casual but fashionable at the same time. My Polka dot top is from Zara. I paired this top with a simple black blazer from Swamp. My skinnies are from Penneys and my shoes are white converse. For my jewellery, I am just wearing a black and gold statement necklace that i purchased in Wallis inside in Cork City for around €12.

This is the makeup look i created for today's post. When you are creating an Everyday makeup look, remember to keep it natural! Makeup should really just enhance what you have and bring out the gorgeous features on your face!

These are all the products i used to create today's look! Now lets get started ;) ...

Concealer
The concealer i used today was my Vichy Dermablend concealer stick. I warmed this up on the back of my hand before i applied this to any blemishes around my face. I also applied this concealer to my eye area to help conceal any under eye circles and make my eyes look more awake.

Foundation
For my Foundation, I used my Revlon Photoready foundation. Less is more really when you are applying foundation. You don't need to layer on your foundation because that will only give you a more cakey look! Apply a small amount of foundation all over your face first and you can then go back and apply a bit more to areas that need that extra bit of coverage! Blending is the most important part to applying your foundation. Basically if your foundation is perfect everything else will run smoothly from there so its worth spending that extra 5 minutes blending ;)

Powder
There is one trick to keeping your makeup lasting all day. Translucent powder! I never really use primers anymore since i discovered translucent powder. Once it is applied right your makeup will last all day. The beauty to using this powder is that you don't need to spend the money. I purchased my Catrice powder in Penneys for €4.99. The key to applying translucent powder is to pat it onto the skin rather than buffing it into the skin. For Bronzer, I just used my Smashbox bronzer. I applied it to my forehead, nose and chin all in one motion. I then blended it onto my neck using circular motions to get rid of any harsh makeup lines. Lastly, I contoured my cheeks. For blush, I just used my physicians formula blush. I applied it to the apples of my cheeks and blended it upwards. I then toned down my blush by applying translucent powder to my cheeks using circular motions.

Eyes
I firstly applied a few dots of my Estee Lauder double wear concealer under my eyes to yet again conceal any under eye circles. I kept my eyeshadow to a minimum for this look. I applied Maybellines eye shadow tattoo in the shade 'on and on bronze' to my entire lid. I then blended 17 eye shadow in the shade 'statuesque' into my crease and the outter corners of my lid. I then took my Vanilla pigment by mac and applied this to my brow bone and inner corners of my eyes. I then applied a small amount of liquid eyeliner to my top lash line. I used my L'oreal slimline eyeliner pen. For mascara, i used my Maybelline rocket mascara as usual :P Lastly for my brows, I used Tease from my naked palette to fill them in very lightly.

Finishing Powder
Like always i finished my makeup with my MAC skinfinish natural powder. This stuff is amazing! I have repurchased this so many times that i cant even keep track. It makes your makeup look so natural and gets rid of that powdery, cakey look! I applied this all over my face buffing it into my skin.

Lips
For my lipstick, i used a Rimmel lipstick in the shade 'Pink Blush'. Its a gorgeous baby pink colour. I then applied a small bit of clear gloss over the lipstick. I forgot to include the gloss into the photograph :p , I used H&M's watermelon clear gloss.
