Review - LA Colors Jumbo Eye Pencil!

Hey girls,
Hope you are all keeping well? I decided to do a quick review in today's blog post seeing as it has been a while since I have done one. I recently purchased the 'LA Colors Jumbo Eye Pencils' on ikatehouse and I have fallen in love with them.

I recently just started a collection of eyeshadow pencils so when I saw these on ikatehouse I knew I had to buy them! These cost $1.49 which is amazing value for the quality of these!

It is safe to say they are the best eyeshadow pencils I have ever tried! These were highly recommended by glitteralittle on YouTube so I couldn't wait to get my hands on them as I trust her opinion on everything. They literally just glide onto your lid. They can be very easily blended for a more natural finish. The only problem I have at the moment with these pencils is that they are running out quite easily. I'm not sure if there is a way to roll up more product from the top.. I haven't quite figured that out yet! ;)

I did purchase quite a few different shades of these as I am trying to build up an eyeshadow pencil collection like I said.  I am constantly reaching out for these when I am doing my eyeshadow. If you are not very experienced with applying eyeshadow, these are the perfect product for you! Even just as an eyeliner on your water line, under your bottom lash line or on your top lid, it will create a beautiful eye look. I love using these under my bottom lash line to make my eyes look much more awake.

There is an amazing range of colours for these so you certainly won't be stuck for choice. I have worn these nearly every day since I got them and I am constanly getting compliments on them since! I would definatly recommend purchasing these if you are on the hunt for products to change around your eyeshadow looks.

I will definatly have some makeup tutorials coming up soon using these products so make sure to watch out on my blog for it! :) Talk to you all in my next post!

October favourites <3

Hey girls,
Hope you are all having a good start to the week? I had no time to put up my October favourites last night as I spent the night out with some of my aunties and cousins at the greyhound track so I apologise for the delay with this post!

My first favourite this month is the maybelline baby lips in the shade 'pink punch'. I have only really gotten into lip balms recently and let me just say these are my absolute newest obsession. I love all the different shades of the baby lips but 'pink punch' is definatly my favourite at the moment. These are just so handy for work and school or to just keep in my bag when I'm out! :)

I have really been loving this Lush skin tint this month. I use this as a highlighter around my eyes and on my browbone. My skin has been looking really dull and unhealthy over the past few weeks so I've been trying a lot of products to make it more healthy looking. This is a great, cheaper alternative for the Benefit high beam!

A couple of weeks ago I decided to purchase a few of the real techniques brushes to try them out. These brushes are so well known for being amazing so I don't know why I have waited this long to try them! I have become absolutely obsessed with the Expert face brush! I use it to apply my foundation and it goes on so easily and evenly. I love this brush it is definatly one of my favourite real techniques brushes at the moment!

Like I said, My skin has been really dull and unhealthy looking the past few weeks so I am trying to make it look much healthier! I love applying M.A.C's strobe cream under my foundation. This cream is basically just a highlighted moisterizer that will make your face look much more glowy! It can also be used as a highlighter over foundation which works beautifully aswell. I just absolutely adore how healthy this product makes my face look!

My favourite foundation ever is the Diorskin forever foundation. I absolutly love this stuff! It is a completely matte foundation so it shows up really well in photos. This is an expensive foundation but it is definatly worth the money. This is an amazing product! I highly recommend this!

My last favourite for this month is the maybelline instant anti-age eraser eye concealer. I apply this under my eyes after I have applied my foundation as a highlighter and it looks amazing. This is in the shade 'light'. Whenever I am buying an under eye concealer I always make sure to buy one or two shades lighter so that it can act as a highlight under my eyes. My only complaint about this product is that it is running out quite quickly and it does cost €11.99 so it's expensive to be repurchasing this every couple of weeks.

That is it for all my favourites this month. I hope you enjoyed reading this post and make sure to keep an eye out for my next one :)

Huge winter makeup haul - Part 2!

Hey girls,
Hope you are having a good week! It's finally the weekend so I can't wait to just relax.  Two weeks ago I ordered some makeup online from ikatehouse. It arrived last Friday and I took this past week to try some of it out and review some of the products for all of you! These products are all so amazing! I was so impressed with ikatehouse and I will definatly be purchasing from them again! :)

I purchased a few new blushes as I needed new wintery coloured blushes. This is the L.A Colors mineral blush in the shade Plum. It costs $2.99. These colours are all so beautiful and really pigmented! They do not stay on as good as other blushes I have tried but I have only been using them for a week so far. I will keep you guys updated on what I think of these blushes :)

I saw 'glitteralittle' on YouTube using this bronzer and it looked so beautiful on her. I knew I had to buy it ;) This is the L.A colors blush in the shade sun kissed. I don't know how this could be a blush as it is such a dark brown colour! This is showing up so much lighter on camera, alot of the blushes actually did, but it is the perfect colour for a bronzer. This cost $2.99!

This L.A girl blush in the shade Spice.  This is a peachy coloured blush! It's not completely a wintery blush but it is suitable for everyday wear and peachy coloured blushes are my absolute favourite so I decided to buy it! This blush costs $2.99.

This is the L.A girl blush in the shade shimmer mocha. This is a really beautiful mauve colour! This blush is perfect for winter. It costs $2.99

I have wanted these plastic spatulas for so long and I could never find them anywhere. The minute I saw these they were straight into the basket ;) I always need these for when I am doing makeup on other people and need to scoop the product onto the back of my hand. These will also be great when I am mixing foundations. These spatulas cost $1.99 which is amazing value for these!

Wintery lipsticks are an absolute must of mine! I love wearing dark lipsticks with neutral smokey eyes in the winter! This is the L.A girl lipstick in the shade Blushberry. These lipsticks are so pigmented and are long-lasting. They do not tase the best so a fruity lip balm under these are certainly a must! These lipsticks cost $1.99.

I also bought this L.A girl lipstick in the shade Cinnamon. This is a gorgeous winey coloured lipstick! Again, this cost $1.99

This is the last lipstick I bought from ikatehouse. This colour is a brighter colour than I thought. I probably won't use this till winter is over unless I mix it with another lipstick. This lipstick cost $ 1.49

I have really got into lip liners over the past few months so I am trying to build a collection of them. I picked up this really gorgeous NK lip pencil in the shade Sienna. I can't wait to wear this with a really nude lipstick or mauvey coloured lipstick. This cost $1.

Eye shadows are the main thing I bought off ikatehouse. I am really trying to expand my eyeshadow collection at the moment and start using more colourful eyeshadows! These NYX roll on shimmer are absolutely amazing! They can be used on the face, eyes and body. I love how easily these glide onto your lids. These cost $3.99. I got these in the shades salmon, mauve pink and taupe. I definatly will re-purchase more of these! :)

These are the L.A color eye colors jumbo eye pencils! I purchased quite a few of these as glitteralittle had such good reviews on them so the next few pictures will be of these eye pencils. These are absolutely amazing and so easy to blend. I work these into my crease and smoke the colour out or I use these as an eyeliner on my top and bottom lid. There is so many different ways to apply this product! I am in love with these at the moment. These ones are in the shade pretty in pink, sea shells and spring! They cost $1.49 each.

These are in the shade iridescent light, vacation and desert sun!

These are in the shade relaxation and sun kissed!

I decided to pick up one NYX jumbo eye pencil in the shade rust as I have always wanted to try these. These cost $3.99. I much prefer the L.A Colors jumbo eye pencils to these. The L.A color ones are cheaper and exactly to same!

The last item I purchased from ikatehouse was this Elf foundation brush. I was in bad need of a new foundation brush so I decided to pick up this one. I used it today to just even out my foundation and I loved it so I cannot wait to apply all of my foundation with this. This cost me $1.29

That is it for all my winter makeup purchases over the last couple of weeks. I hope to do a winter makeup tutorial with these products in a blogpost soon. Make sure to check out the ikatehouse website for some amazing makeup deals! I will be uploading my October favourites tomorrow so make sure to check it out! :)
