Everyday makeup tutorial! <3

Hey girls,
Hope you are all enjoying your week? I haven't really done many makeup tutorials since i started my blog so i decided to do probably one of the most popular makeup tutorials in today's post. Its my everyday makeup tutorial! I never really stick to the same makeup routine. I am such a makeup fanatic that i am constantly experimenting with new makeup products so this is just an easy, natural look that i created today. I tried to use as many drugstore products as i could to try keep this look affordable but there are a few of my favorite High end makeup products thrown in aswell ;) Before we start i have a quick outfit of the day for you guys...

I was just going out for dinner with my family on Thursday night so i kept this look casual but fashionable at the same time. My Polka dot top is from Zara. I paired this top with a simple black blazer from Swamp. My skinnies are from Penneys and my shoes are white converse. For my jewellery, I am just wearing a black and gold statement necklace that i purchased in Wallis inside in Cork City for around €12.

This is the makeup look i created for today's post. When you are creating an Everyday makeup look, remember to keep it natural! Makeup should really just enhance what you have and bring out the gorgeous features on your face!

These are all the products i used to create today's look! Now lets get started ;) ...

Concealer
The concealer i used today was my Vichy Dermablend concealer stick. I warmed this up on the back of my hand before i applied this to any blemishes around my face. I also applied this concealer to my eye area to help conceal any under eye circles and make my eyes look more awake.

Foundation
For my Foundation, I used my Revlon Photoready foundation. Less is more really when you are applying foundation. You don't need to layer on your foundation because that will only give you a more cakey look! Apply a small amount of foundation all over your face first and you can then go back and apply a bit more to areas that need that extra bit of coverage! Blending is the most important part to applying your foundation. Basically if your foundation is perfect everything else will run smoothly from there so its worth spending that extra 5 minutes blending ;)

Powder
There is one trick to keeping your makeup lasting all day. Translucent powder! I never really use primers anymore since i discovered translucent powder. Once it is applied right your makeup will last all day. The beauty to using this powder is that you don't need to spend the money. I purchased my Catrice powder in Penneys for €4.99. The key to applying translucent powder is to pat it onto the skin rather than buffing it into the skin. For Bronzer, I just used my Smashbox bronzer. I applied it to my forehead, nose and chin all in one motion. I then blended it onto my neck using circular motions to get rid of any harsh makeup lines. Lastly, I contoured my cheeks. For blush, I just used my physicians formula blush. I applied it to the apples of my cheeks and blended it upwards. I then toned down my blush by applying translucent powder to my cheeks using circular motions.

Eyes
I firstly applied a few dots of my Estee Lauder double wear concealer under my eyes to yet again conceal any under eye circles. I kept my eyeshadow to a minimum for this look. I applied Maybellines eye shadow tattoo in the shade 'on and on bronze' to my entire lid. I then blended 17 eye shadow in the shade 'statuesque' into my crease and the outter corners of my lid. I then took my Vanilla pigment by mac and applied this to my brow bone and inner corners of my eyes. I then applied a small amount of liquid eyeliner to my top lash line. I used my L'oreal slimline eyeliner pen. For mascara, i used my Maybelline rocket mascara as usual :P Lastly for my brows, I used Tease from my naked palette to fill them in very lightly.

Finishing Powder
Like always i finished my makeup with my MAC skinfinish natural powder. This stuff is amazing! I have repurchased this so many times that i cant even keep track. It makes your makeup look so natural and gets rid of that powdery, cakey look! I applied this all over my face buffing it into my skin.

Lips
For my lipstick, i used a Rimmel lipstick in the shade 'Pink Blush'. Its a gorgeous baby pink colour. I then applied a small bit of clear gloss over the lipstick. I forgot to include the gloss into the photograph :p , I used H&M's watermelon clear gloss.

I hope you enjoyed reading today's post. Remember to keep that everyday look as natural as possible!! I have gotten a lot of new readers over the past few weeks so i would like to thank you all for your support! If any of you have any requests or comments you can contact me through any of my pages. Collective Beauty haul!

Hey girls,
Hope you are all keeping well? It feels like i havent blogged in ages because of my holidays! It was absolutely amazing over in Tenerife and i cannot wait to go back again to see everyone! :D Today's  blogpost is going to be a collective beauty haul! For any of you who don't know what that is, it is basically just beauty products that I have purchased over a couple of weeks. Most of the products in this haul I purchased over in tenerife while I was on holidays and some I purchased here :)

This beauty case is my new obsession! I actually just purchased this today. I have wanted one of these cases for so long. These cases just make it so much easier to carry all your makeup around with you when you are doing other people's makeup or for just storing your own. I got this case in Hennessy and I paid €73.97 for this with my Hennessy Trade card.

This is the MAC vanilla pigment and It is amazing! It can be used so many different ways. This is a great highlighter for your cheekbones, browbone and around the eye area. I used it every night over on holidays and loved it! I paid €24.50 for this inside in MAC in cork city.

These YSL lipsticks are amazing! It is the YSL 'rouge volupté' lipstick. They are so creamy and are like a lipstick and a gloss in one. This lipstick is a really frosty pink colour and it is in the shade no.7 'lingerie pink'. I paid €25 for this lipstick in tenerife.

I loved the packaging of these lipsticks so much that I decided to purchase two of them. I am so glad I did because these are my new favourite lipsticks. This lipstick is the YSL 'rouge volupté shine' lipstick in the shade no.15 'Corail intuitive'. This colour is my favourite out of the two! It is a really gorgeous peachy coral colour. I paid €27 for this lipstick in tenerife.

This product is the Chanel natural finish loose powder. This powder is packaged in a really big tub so I'd say this product will last you a few months before running out. I have not yet tried this but I am really excited to! I paid €35 for this over in tenerife.

This is the last item that I purchased in Tenerife. This is the 'Diorskin forever' foundation. We learnt about this foundation in my makeup course and we were told it was a great product to have in your kit. This foundation is a completely matte foundation so it comes out great in photos. I am loving this foundation at the moment and cant wait to try this out on other people. I paid €33 for this foundation.

Those are all my recent beauty purchases. I hope you enjoyed reading this post and i will talk to you all in my next one! Enjoy the sunshine ;)

June favourites!

Hey girls,
Happy July!! Hope you are all keeping well? I cannot believe it is July already. The summer is flying by so fast. As it is a new month you all know what that means dont you? Time for another monthly favourites! I am heading off on holidays to Tenerife on Sunday so I won't be blogging until I get back. I have been really busy trying to get organised this week and I just can't wait to get over there on sunday! Anyways back to the point.. I have some great beauty favourites to share with you all this month so lets get started ;)

My first favourite this month is the natural minerals kit by Pixi. This is in the shade 'No.1 Santa Barbara'. This kit comes with four eyeshadows, 2 blushes and 2 lip colours. It is a tiny block so it would be great for travelling. I adore the eye colours in this palette. As far as i know Pixi products are not sold here in Ireland and they can only be bought online. I have used these colours a lot throughout the month of June. You can clearly see that by how dirty this palette is ;) I really need to clean it soon!

My next favourite for this month is my MAC lipstick in the shade 'impassioned'. This is a gorgeous bright pink colour. I get so many compliments when I wear this lipstick. I paid €17.50 for this lipstick inside in MAC in Cork.

I wore this lipgloss so much throughout the month of June. This is a MAC lipgloss in the shade 'Out For Glamour'. I wear a small bit of this over my MAC impassioned lipstick and I absolutely love the colour that it gives. I got this in a MAC lipgloss set for Christmas so I am not exactly sure on the individual price of this lipgloss.

My next favourite for this month is the Smashbox bronze lights bronzer in the shade 'Suntan Matte'. I got this as a present off my mom during the month and I have worn this nearly everyday since. It is a completely matte bronzer so it is great for all over your face and contouring. I have been looking for a really good bronzer for awhile and I finally think I may have found it!

My last June favourite is the Johnsons body care holiday skin body lotion. This is an amazing product. This product gives you a really gorgeous natural tan. I think I used this everyday throughout the month of June and I definatly will continue to use this throughout the months of July and August! My mom told me this is suppose to be great for keeping your tan after holidays aswell so I cannot wait to try this out once I come back!

Those are all my beauty favourites for another month! I hope you enjoyed reading this post. If you have any requests or questions you can contact me through any of my pages. I will talk to you all in my next post!
